The Lanzig belegation of the Harbour Board is at
present examining the question of the establishment in
Danzig of a free port, but finds great difficulty in
obtaining the data necessary to settle the various
que ations connected with this scheme; we should
therefore be glad to know whether you can supply us
with any information over free ports or free port
areas. We are particularly interested in the
historicul development of free ports, especially those
that have at any time included the whole town, or at
least workmen's dwelling houses within the free Grou;
we believe that Hongkong and Shangbai are examples of
this.
